MORE TracFone Hassles

So all day today my phone does not work and one of the following three messages appears at any given moment:
SIM Card Registration Failed
No Service
Emergency Only

I called the Executive Resolutions Department at Tracfone and the gentleman I spoke with (who had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand) said he would open a case on it, and it should be fixed in 2 or 3 hours. He asked if there was anything else he could do for me, and I said, "Yes, give me a useable phone to use for the next 2 or 3 hours." Or at least offer me some compensation minutes for me having to put up with such an incompetent company.

Let's see . . . it's been 4 hours and--guess what? The phone is still not working. No big surprise there. See my post from yesterday.

I don't know if the Executive Resolutions Department's number is easy to find. I guess they don't make it easy to find. The letter I sent re the last Tracfone issue I had is what initiated my phone contact with that department. If you need the number, it is 1-800-339-9345. Now, whether or not everyone there is as competent as the gal who handled my last issue, that remains to be seen. Based on my conversation with the guy today, I would not bank on it.
